Jah Sister's was the name of a monthly recurring event in Cafe the Zen Amsterdam that was conceived by the owner of cafe the Zen. In 2017 Sound-Cista got every first Saturday of the month to play in café the Zen. She asked DJ Jessi to play with her on the Jah Sisters evenings. From 2017 to 2020 The name Jah Sisters is often used when we are together somewhere. Most people know us as Jah Sisters and not as DJ Jessi and Sound-Cista. We play both individually and also together. The name Jah Sisters has been glued to us by the public, and we are proud to wear the name. Jah Sisters have played at several events in the Netherlands and Spain.
